A drive to William Creek

Check out this six and a half minute video of the drive from Coober Pedy to William Creek by wolfcat. There’s a google map on the page too.  I think it’s safe to say that both …  I was going to say ‘both towns’ but that’s not quite right, let’s try again. Both Coober Pedy (an actual town) and William Creek (just a pub where you can get fuel and accommodation) are in the middle of nowhere, a long way from anywhere indeed.

Now if only the drive really did take a mere six and a half minutes! It’s a good look at the type of countryside that forms a large chunk of this desert I reside in. The landscape around Coober Pedy is quite different to that closer to the Alice. It’s really quite amazing the diversity in the desert lands.

Great video & many thanks for posting it Wolfcat! 🙂
